International Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day

October 3, 2009 marks the 6th annual International Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day, brought to you by IMBA (International Mountain Bike Association).

There are events going on everywhere across the USA and around the World. To find an event near you, check the map on IMBA’s Website. The deadline to register an event is September 15th so you still have a few days.

IMBA’s International Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day celebrates the life of Jack Doub, an avid teenage mountain biker from North Carolina who had a true passion for the sport from an early age but passed away in 2002. Funding is provided by the Jack Doub Memorial Endowment. The event will take place each year on the first Saturday in October.
